LITTLE CANELA

BABY SENSORY CLASS

LITTLE CANELA is an art-based sensory program created for toddlers from 18 to 36 months, together with their parents. For many families, this is a first encounter with art, the studio, and a guided creative space. That is why the class is designed to feel gentle, welcoming, and unhurried—offering children the time and safety they need to explore, observe, and discover at their own rhythm.

The program is rooted in sensory exploration and the power of observation. Through carefully prepared activities, children engage their senses—touch, sight, movement, and sometimes sound—while remaining free to interact in a way that feels natural to them. There is no pressure to “do” or “produce”; the focus is on experience, curiosity, and connection.

BENEFITS OF A SENSORY CLASS

  • Supports brain development by strengthening neural connections through multi-sensory experiences

  • Encourages fine and gross motor skills through natural movement, grasping, pouring, and mixing

  • Builds early concentration and attention span in a calm, age-appropriate way

  • Helps children gain confidence in new environments while feeling safe and supported

  • Supports emotional regulation through grounding, sensory-rich activities

  • Encourages a positive and pressure-free relationship with food through early sensory exposure

  • Strengthens the parent–child bond through shared focus, presence, and observation

  • Gently stimulates curiosity, creativity, and early problem-solving skills

LITTLE CANELA is not about performance or results—it is about creating a meaningful first relationship with art, the senses, and everyday materials, in a space where children feel respected, supported, and free to explore the world in their own way.
